We chipped away at the repressed shame and grief that I had pushed down for years and years. It took time if I’m honest. I felt alone going through anxiety and depression that I had experienced. Jacqueline brought to my attention that there was no shame to be had here, that it was rational to experience emotion and we challenged some long term beliefs and avoidance that I had built up.

I had partaken in CBT through the GP clinic previously. I found it to be short term and was shook when a few months later I felt the same as I did before visiting the GP. I felt it covered the HOW but not the WHY. The WHY am I feeling like this.

The therapy sessions I had with Jacqueline at her clinic did this. It opened up trauma in my life and explained it to me. To understand this and find peace with previous negative experiences has been like finding gold. It’s made such a positive difference.”
